Hello, my name is Oleg Malakhov. I design functional and comfortable products — and help creative teams work faster, better, and more focused. Based in Stockholm, Sweden.









Majority set out to be the digital bank for migrants in the U.S.—a group often underserved by traditional banking. But the product faced challenges: high churn, customer-service overload, and regulatory onboarding friction. My role as Director of Product Design was to turn design from a support function into a lever for retention, growth, and trust.












In the first 90 days, we set a roadmap, rebuilt collaboration with PMs and engineers, and led a user experince audit. As a result, we uncovered many confusing flows, fixed them, and introduced a consistent design system to reduce fragmentation across the product.











During my time, we launched many new features and improved the existing ones. Design was involved end-to-end — not just in shipping features, but in shaping the experience and tone. What stayed behind is a team with systems, rituals, and a stronger sense of ownership.



















For the past 9+ years, I've worked with tech startups, building digital products from 0→1 and scaling them from 1→n. I’m a hands-on design leader with experience across both consumer and B2B — crafting experiences where strategy, aesthetics, and usability come together. I grow teams, nurture culture, and scale design intentionally. My background spans end-to-end design, product–market fit discovery, and brand development.
